First, strawberry temperature and humidity control

The control of greenhouse temperature is one of the important tasks of greenhouse strawberry management. The height of the greenhouse temperature directly affects the size of the strawberry fruit, the level of yield, and the maturity of sooner or later. The greenhouse temperature is too low, the seedlings are easily dwarfed, the fruit growth is slow, and the maturation period is postponed. The greenhouse temperature is too high, which is an important reason for the over-expansion of the seedlings in the early stage and the small fruit in the later stage.

Li Zangchao stressed that the temperature in the shed should be adjusted according to the different growth stages of the seedlings. In the initial period of the shed, during the day, the temperature is maintained at 25-28°C, with a maximum of 32°C; the flowering period is maintained at 23-25°C, and the highest is 30°C; during the expansion period to maturity, it is maintained at 18-25°C, and the highest is 28°C; At 12°C, the lowest temperature should not be lower than 5°C, but temperatures above 0°C will not cause significant frost damage, and short-term -2°C will cause freezing. The humidity in the greenhouse is controlled at 40%-50%, which is suitable for the growth of strawberries. In winter, the temperature is low, and the humidity is often high, especially after spraying and watering. Spraying and watering should be carried out in the morning as much as possible, and the high-temperature period before and after noon can be ventilated and dehumidified.

Second, strawberry top dressing management

Li Zangchao pointed out that in order to achieve high yields of strawberries, in addition to sufficient base fertilizer, it is necessary to carry out the top dressing. Top dressing is divided into 3-4 times.

1. After the first application of fertilizer in the shed, the dormancy period of strawberries ends. Each gram of topdressing urea is 30 jins + Ciba borax-zinc fertilizer 150 grams + Ruilu 50 grams + Ruipei Calcium 200 grams. After dissolving, it is flushed with water. To ensure the early growth needs of strawberries, lay a good foundation for flowering and fruit setting.

2. The second top-dressing in the fruit expansion period after flowering of strawberry, topdressing 20 kg of urea per mu, plus 3-4 kg of potassium dihydrogen in Jiayuan, to promote the expansion of strawberry fruit.

3. In the third and fourth topdressing period of strawberry coloring, in order to increase the sugar content of the strawberry and improve the quality of the strawberry, it is necessary to control the nitrogen and potassium, and follow the water to top up with 4 kg of dipotassium per mus. Then apply other fertilizers to ensure the late strawberry production.

4. Spray good foliar fertilizer. Strawberries have high requirements for water and fertilizer. In addition to topdressing, they need to make up the foliage. In the flowering period, in order to improve the fruit set rate of strawberries and prevent the appearance of malformed fruit, spray 10 grams of Reed Boron 10g/barrel of water twice a day for 10 days; in order to improve the quality of the fruit, the strawberries are brightly colored and sprayed twice.
